The Race to Tenerife returns as the world’s largest amateur pairs golf tournament prepares for another global showdown

International Pairs is proud to officially confirm that Tenerife, Spain will host the 2026 International Pairs World Final, taking place in October 2026.
Following the success of the 2024 World Final in Tenerife, Tenerife once again provides the perfect stage for the world’s leading amateur golfers to come together and compete in one of the most anticipated events on the global amateur golf calendar.



The International Pairs World Final brings together qualifying pairs from across 27+ countries, representing a season-long journey worldwide. From local club qualifiers to national finals, the pathway culminates in a truly international competition where players compete not only for the title, but for the experience of a lifetime.
Set against the dramatic landscapes and year-round golfing climate of Tenerife, the 2026 World Final promises to deliver a world-class experience both on and off the course. The destination has already proven to be a favourite among players and partners alike, offering a unique blend of championship golf, hospitality and unforgettable scenery.



Alongside the main championship, the event will once again feature the Ryder Experience, an exclusive division that forms part of the World Final week. This premium experience allows participants to engage with legendary figures of the game, compete in a Ryder Cup-style format and enjoy a series of exclusive events and functions throughout the week.
