World Final
The International Pairs World Final is played as a Better Ball Stableford 2-person team format over 2 days of 18 Holes per day — 36 holes in total. There is always an official practice round on the day before the first tournament round.
The format rewards consistent partnership golf across the confirmed World Final week in Tenerife — bringing together a practice day, two competition rounds, a premium hotel base and the full international event atmosphere.

The 2026 World Final features multiple competitive divisions, ensuring every pair competes against others of similar ability and profile. All divisions play simultaneously across the championship course.
Championship Division

The 2026 World Final will take place on the stunning island of Tenerife, Spain from 5–9 October 2026, with the full venue setup now confirmed.
Golf del Sur will host Course 1, Amarilla Golf will host Course 2, and Barceló Tenerife will serve as the official hotel and social hub for the week.

The Ryder Experience runs alongside the Championship event, giving participants the unique opportunity to play in a Ryder Cup–style team competition led by legendary European Ryder Cup captains and players.
Teams of four pairs are drawn into competing nations, captained by iconic names from European golf history. The Ryder Experience is one of the most memorable additions to the World Final week — competitive, electric, and unlike any amateur golf experience on the planet.

All Guests Arrival
Airport transfers, hotel check-in and International Pairs registration at Barceló Tenerife. No golf on arrival day — time to settle in and prepare for the week.
Welcome Cocktail & Dinner
The official opening of the 2026 International Pairs World Final. Players, guests and Ryder Experience captains together for the first time.
Official Practice Round
Ryder Experience tee-time window at Golf del Sur from 09:06. Championship tee-time window at Amarilla Golf from 11:24. A chance to learn both layouts before competition begins.
Flag Ceremony
Players gather with their national flags to represent their countries and formally open the tournament rounds.
Ryder Captains Dinner
The official dinner with the Ryder Experience captains, followed at 20:15 by a live Q&A — A Chat With The Ryder Captains.
Round 1 — Competition Begins
Championship tee-time window at Amarilla Golf from 10:20, Ryder Experience at Golf del Sur from 11:06. Eighteen holes of Better Ball Stableford with live scoring.
Free Evening
No official functions. An opportunity to explore Tenerife, eat out along the coast, or simply enjoy the hotel before the final round.
Round 2 — Final Round
The deciding 18 holes. Ryder Experience at Golf del Sur from 08:26, Championship at Amarilla Golf from 10:28. The leaderboard narrows and the title is decided.
Prize-Giving & Gala Dinner
World Final awards and the official closing celebration — champions crowned, trophies presented, and a landmark week in golf brought to a close.

Hotel check-out and scheduled airport transfers according to confirmed flight arrangements.

Qualify
International Pairs Licensees in 27 countries host qualifier events throughout the season. Those who qualify are invited to their national final, where they battle it out for one of the coveted spots at the International Pairs World Final in Tenerife.
There is also the option to enter the Ryder Experience directly — an alternative pathway to the World Final week that doesn't require qualification.

The Island Hosting The World
Turismo de Tenerife is the Official Destination Partner of the 2026 International Pairs World Final. Pairs from 27 countries are coming to an island that plays golf in every month of the year — volcanic landscape on one side, the Atlantic on the other, and both host courses minutes from the coast.
Mount Teide rises 3,718 metres out of the centre of the island: the highest peak in Spain, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. Around it are black-sand beaches, whale and dolphin waters, the old town of La Laguna, and the fishing villages of Los Abrigos and San Miguel de Abona on the doorstep of Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf.
